The primary goal of Santé in Costa Rica has been to provide health care services through La Clinica de la Mariposa on an on-going basis, with a focus on quality and quantity of care. Services have been provided during the two visits each year since 2001 and three visits per year since 2006, using student and supervising professional volunteers to fill all positions in the clinic.
